The articles related to Don't Blame the Eater are sort of true. There in the middle because they target kids and the parents buy them what they want. If parents were to too be more careful on what they buy or how constantly they buy their kids fast food or toys related to fast food because maybe obesity wouldn't be such a problem amongst young kids. If parents were to decide that their kids are suppose to be real healthy and then they wouldn't be obsessed.
Big corporations target kids because parents allow them too and they also encourage them too. For example if parents were to say no more toys that make you think fast food, maybe then corporations would probably not target kids anymore. Big corporations wouldn't target kids and be wealthy if parents were to go to markets and buy vegetables and fruits to make their kids healthy. They also wouldn't aim for kids if parents would decide to give them fast food as a treat or reward instead of an option every once a month or maybe even too.
In the past years obesity has seemed to grow immensely between kids and teens because it seems as if parents don't seem to care of what their kids eat or put in their body. It also seems that they don’t seem to care that they eat more junk food than vegetables or anything home made that is good for the kids. In case where a mother was suing McDonalds she said “I feed my son McDonalds because I thought it was healthy for him.” What kind of an excuse is that?! It doesn’t make sense I you feed your child fast food daily you don’t truly love your kid and you’re neglecting that child from a nutritionist life.
A parent has the right to say no to their kid because they are the parents and because if they don’t stop their child their child is going to walk all over them without thinking about it. It doesn’t only apply to food to life as well because an unhealthy kid doesn’t have the same advantage as very healthy kid. An unhealthy kid isn’t going to be able to run or walk without breathing hard or isn’t going to be able to play without getting tired quickly. It’s not fair for a kid to go through all that because they are just kids and they get made fun of everyday just because they aren’t as healthy as other kids.
Most people don’t understand what being obese is. They see it as they are only fat and they don’t care about how they look.
Many parents don’t understand that if they love their kid they would want their kid to be healthy because they are showing how much they care about them. It’s real interesting to tell a parent that they don’t love their kids because they neglect them with giving them unhealthy food and by letting them eat fast food they are harming. There’s a quote that stands out to me from Don’t Blame the Eater “Shouldn’t we know better than to eat two meals a day in fast food restaurants?” If people were to analyze how long they spend or how much they spend on fast food restaurants they would be surprised. It’s crazy because it seems people are hypnotized by fast food that they don’t seem to notice how much time and money they spend on fast food restaurants.
I’m not a healthy person but I’m not obese either. My parents tell me and try not to buy fast food and it has been working because I’m getting use to not eating fast food that often. I mean it’s a great feeling because my family and I are overcoming obesity. We do eat it once in a while but it’s rare when we do. My parents are trying to become more informed about what foods are healthy and which are not. They don’t want my sister, brother and me to become obese or have any type of obese related sickness.
It's a blog where i post most of my english assignments so i wont print them. I credit for the assignments i have there.

Reading Autobiography
Well i was never read to when i was a little kid. I would always wonder what that was like. I had a hard time reading in my elementary classes. At home no one would be able to help me read or do anything not because they wouldn't to or couldn't read but because they couldn't since they only spoke Spanish and still do. I had a real long way to go i didn't like reading when i was little because i would struggle with all the words. I also had some trouble speaking English. My teachers knew why i had trouble but didn't want me to go to an ESL class because they knew it was to low for me.
In middle school i didn't touch a book because i hated them. I didn't like reading at all because i would still mess some words up and have trouble with reading. My parents wanted me to read more often but i didn't read at all. I guess since i wasn't helped at home with reading i couldn't think of reading been something i would do for fun or anything related to that.
Any kid at that age wouldn't want to read if their parents didn't read for them when they were little. I got so use to the idea that books weren't my thing that i felt awkward when i started reading in high school. I started reading because i became a loner in my first high school. I mean i would hang out with some kids but it would be in the library and since Miguel Contreras library is big we got to read a lot of books.
My first favorite writer would be Stephenie Meyer. I loved her book Twilight i was obsessed with it. Once i finished reading that one i was ready to start reading the next book which would be New Moon. After reading New Moon i was really looking forward to reading Eclipse. I was sad and excited about getting to the last book and been ready to watch the movies. That was all i could think about most of the time and no that I've watched all three movies and want to watch the last movie which their doing into two parts i can't wait for them to come out and i also want to re-read the books for one more last time.
